It is a wood floor that is very susceptible to scratches, even cracks, so you cannot use scrubbers, strong cleaners or brooms directly on the floor. If you have kids and/or pets, you know that tough scuff marks are the bane of any wood floor’s existence. And if you’re like most people, you don’t have time to go through the hassle of sanding and refinishing every time one pops up.

However, we should mention that it is worthwhile removing the scuff marks as soon as they appear because they are easier to get rid of when they are new. If you still don’t know how to get scuff marks off wood floor. Here are quick, simple, and affordable DIY methods to remove scratches from wooden floors.

1. Buff With A Damp Cloth 

Items Needed: 

  • A small amount of water 
  • Clean microfiber cloth, towel, or sponge
